An international multidisciplinary consulting firm seeks to employ a dedicated Senior Engineer that specialises in Wet Services to be permanently based in their Cape Town office. The candidate must have strong knowledge in wet services working on high rise building projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to those who would like to be part of major projects.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must be a holder of a BSc Mechanical Engineering or alternatively a BEng Mechanical Engineering degree
Must be professionally registered as a Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) with ECSA
Must have 8 - 12 years extensive experience in the design of mechanical systems for Wet Services on major building projects such as hotels, hospitals, residential buildings and schools
Must be able to design Wet Services and Fire systems to meet regulations and client satisfaction.
Must have experience using AutoCAD software as well as Microsoft Office
Must have experience in using building Information Model (BIM) modelling in Revit for Mechanical Building Services and Wet Services.
Must have knowledge in preparing bill of quantities and issuing payment certificates
Must have experience in Writing reports, Supervising technical team and contractors
Must be in a position to attend design and progress meetings with clients and consulting teams.
Must have managed multiple projects, mechanical teams, budgets and cost reports
