My client is one of the world's leading engineering professional services consulting firms that are based in the Bryanston area. They require an individual with excellent management skills to lead and motivate a specialized technical team consisting of Junior and Senior Staff, ensuring high standards, quality work, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Minimum criteria for the position:

• Minimum of a BSc or BTech degree from a recognised educational institution.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the Wet Services Engineering environment and relevant Mechanical/Civil engineering in the Consulting Engineering industry..
• In depth knowledge of applicable regulations codes and best practice norms.
• On Site experience
• Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office

Your daily duties will include, however not limited to:
• Capable of completing all types of projects from inception to close out.
• Be able to focus on client care which would involve client interface.
• Marketing – which would include attendance at business related networking functions, client functions, ensuring we get repeat work from clients and developing a client base.
• Be able to manage junior & senior staff – effective communication, resource management.

• Preparation of technical reports

• Productivity - Ability to deliver requested work within deadlines and correct information as per engineering design and company CAD standards.

Tender Design
• Obtaining approval of contractors list
• Development of full tender design
• Detailed heat load calculations
• Inclusion of tenant requirements (if available)

Construction
• Completion of first fix design
