Our Client has been in business for nearly 10 years and has been experiencing extensive growth in the last two years. They work with some of the world’s biggest brands, from DKNY to Ghirardelli Chocolate Company. If you join their team you will have the opportunity to work from home with only 1 day a week team day on location. You will have a flexible schedule and will have the option to be paid (partially or full) in Bitcoin and you will also be pain in USD equivalent of your starting ZAR salary. There is also the possibility of relocation to the Cayman Islands or Canada in the future.

Education:

Bachelors Degree preferred

Skills:

• Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful API’s
• Strong understanding of PHP, Linux, MYSQL
• High-end knowledge of WordPress plugin writing

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing new features and functionality
• Establishing and guiding website’s architecture
• Ensuring high-performance and availability and managing all technical aspect of multiple WordPress sites.
• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Experience using GIT and other deployment tools
• Exposure designing and developing responsive design websites
• Comfortable working with with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector etc
