This electrical/computer engineer will design, build, and test next generation LCD backlights utilizing full array localized dimming technology. This individual will also design HW prototypes for display test boxes, AR/VR, and IoT devices.

Senior EE responsibilities

• Utilize analog and digital skill sets to realize designs in high and low tech builds
• FPGA programming
• HW designs containing, FPGAs, MCUs, high speed serial interfaces (DP and MIPI)
• International travel
• Coordinate design efforts locally and with China team
• Support NPI activities
• Mentor junior engineers
• Define architecture for various projects
• Ability to define project scope and timelines for bid formulation
• Performing business cases when selecting BOM components
• Selecting vendors for components
• HW bring up
• Work with multiple engineering disciplines (HW, SW, Mechanical)
Education Requirements
• BSEE or BSCPE; 4 year degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
• Expert in Altium designer both schematic and layout.
• Experience with high speed interfaces such as DisplayPort, MIPI, HDMI
• FPGA HDL programming experience
