The Company

The Media Image is a leading online paid search specialist agency based in Cape Town, servicing both local and UK clients. Specialising in all forms of paid and SEO search (Facebook, AdWords, Display, Bing) we have grown rapidly to be a leading SA and UK agency and are looking to expand our employee base.

The Role

Main point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring client objectives are met, by implementing client strategy through agreed tasks and working with support team to deliver.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of all SEO fundamentals
• Excellent communicator, with an ability to professionally converse with clients and colleagues
• Highly effective organiser of oneself and others
• Good command of the English language, including written grammar, and spelling.
• Proficient in all Microsoft tools, especially excel and powerpoint
• Good data analysis skills
• Very importantly, a willingness to learn, and keep learning new skills from working with others and through ongoing personal reading and research.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Main point of contact for assigned clients
• Ensure clear objectives are agreed and understood
• Work with client and with Head of strategy / Head of SEO to implement agreed strategy
• Work with client to agree most effective actions and dates for delivery, recording all on workplan.
• Manage client deliverables, ensuring they are completed to a high standard, and completed on or before agreed date/time.
• When required work with support and management team to deliver client tasks.
• Ongoing communication with client, to ensure they are at all times clear of what TMI SEO is working on for them.
• Answer all client questions/requests within 3 working hours
o Even if this is to advise more time is required to answer in full.
• Responsibility of delivering client actions on time will always fall with the account manager
o Even if action is reliant on member of support team
o If task is not deliverable on time, client must be updated at the earliest possible opportunity.
• Ensure that reporting is in place to allow clear evaluation of TMI SEO work vs. client objectives
• Monitor reports to identify problems and opportunities at earliest opportunity.
• Ensure that good and insightful commentary is sent with all reports, always with clear next steps and actions.
• Ongoing communication with client to advise on problems / opportunities / industry updates / anything else relevant to client
• Ensure client budgets are agreed, and allocation of these is as agreed with client
• Have a clear understanding of the profitability, costs and overheads associated with your clients
• Work with Head of strategy / Head of SEO to agree most effective SEO strategy for your clients.
• Contribute & feedback to management team on effectiveness of strategy vs. client objectives.
• Manage workload and development of assigned SEO executives
• Ongoing communication with Account director to ensure they are always up to date with
o All relevant client matters
o Support team matters
• Contribute and develop to company strategies, processes or any other area that would improve
o your ability to carry out your duties
o the effectiveness of the work we do for clients
o the development of SEO executives
o profitability of the work we do for clients
• Carry out ongoing personal & attend company led research and training to ensure you develop your overall knowledge of SEO and any other complimentary areas, especially in the following topics
o All areas relevant to TMI SEO strategies
o New areas of SEO development
o Search engine changes and updates
