SEO Analyst

Location: Claremont, Cape Town
Salary: R15k per month

An SEO Analyst is required to assist with reporting, analytics and search engine optimisation

Requirements:
Undergraduate or postgraduate in marketing, IT, or maths related subject
Good understanding of Google Search tools
Flawless English
Matric Maths
Basic Google Analytics - preferably a certification
Basic knowledge of CMS systems such as WordPress
Previous experience of SEO
HTML an advantage - you will be performing basic website updates

Duties:
SEO:
Inbound link building strategies and management
Writing blog posts, social media posts, press releases
Keyword monitoring and optimisation
Perform link profile analysis for clients in a variety of fields and industries
Fixing Webmaster errors
Site user experience improvements
Internal and external link-building
Writing titles and meta data
On-page optimisation
Landing page monitoring and management
Team and client reporting including:
Monitoring and maintaining SEO and Web Analytics Tools
Analysing off-site profiles of client and competitor sites
Analysis of ranking data, spotting trends and making recommendations to team
Generating weekly and monthly reports on site usage, conversions, interactions and rankings
