SEO Specialist

Main objective

A high performance search engine optimisation (SEO) team in the ultra-competitive online gambling niche requires a dynamic, resourceful SEO specialist to assist the SEO team in carrying out their strategy. The candidate will play a central role, responsible for contributing to strategy and day-to-day management and execution of assigned projects.

A solid understanding of search engines, optimisation and current ranking factors, along with 3 years relevant experience are a prerequisite for this position. A highly analytical mind and technical orientation is essential.

Responsibilities:

• SEO competitor analysis (both on-site and off-site)
• Producing SEO Audits and carrying out on-site optimisation (in various languages)
• Perform in-depth keyword research (in various languages)
• Data mining, cleansing and reporting
• Managing the production of multimedia content for various websites and projects
• Building high quality backlinks using a variety of tactics including outreach and content marketing
• Producing detailed SEO reports on a monthly basis
• Maintaining a record of all SEO implementations made on the site, along with all expenses incurred
• Project management of all SEO activities

• Must be a self-starter and show initiative

Requirements:

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Screaming Frog, Xenu, SEO Tools For Excel.
• Experience with backlink analysis tools including OSE, Majestic and Ahrefs.
• Experience working with various Windows and Linux based CMS systems, including DNN, Joomla, Drupal and Wordpress.
• Tertiary qualification in marketing or similar.
• Extensive knowledge of SEO (legacy and current developments).
• Ability to execute SEO tasks in various languages.
• Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
