Our motor dealer client in Soweto currently has a vacancy for a Service Advisor with Kerridge experience
on a six months contract basis.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To provide an excellent service by understanding the customer needs, providing advice and offering solutions.
The outcome that is produced is Satisfied Customers and will be considered successful when:
The customers needs/requirements are understood and expectations are met.

RELATIONSHIPS AND PERSONAL ACTIVITIES:
Directly responsible to the Service Manager.
Relationships with company staff.

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Act as the first point of contact with the client on walk-in/tow-in side of the business, in friendly and supportive manner.
2. Welcome customers and capture the relevant information, assuring that client needs are addressed.
3. Follow up on parts ordered, and bookings are made to suite customer – daily.
4. Keep customers up to date with regard to information on status of the vehicle – Numerous times daily.
5. Handle queries/concerns of customers as per the customers concerned – daily.
6. Make out job cards, accurately and timeously and put job cards through for costing – daily.
7. Maintain reasonable control over sublet suppliers, using competent suppliers at the best costing and who can provide timeous delivery.
8. Arrange hire vehicles for customers, obtaining the necessary authority to do so.
9. Collect Payments from customers that are due, prior to handing back the vehicle.
