Job Description
Offering field service support on the relevant surface mining equipment
Implement solutions for preventative maintenance and advise customers on corrective measures
Study and assess the equipment downtime reason from the relevant reports and utilise this to eliminate defects
Look into dimension options for available software upgrades on equipment control as well ad variable drive system requirements.
Make sure of effective planning and scheduling and execute software upgrades on equipment control, as well as variable drive systems.
Conduction inspections to maintain standard service requirements and improve of the effectiveness of customer maintenance issues.
Assisting maintenance personnel while conducting planned maintenance.
Minimum Requirements
At least 5 yrs experience on surface mining equipment
National Diploma in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Must have excellent relevant product knowledge within proven industry experience
Experience in the maintenance of surface mining equipment
Must be computer literate
Excellent communication skills
Able to explain complex technical conditions in non-technical terms
Willing to travel when required
