Our client is a franchise dealership in the northern suburbs, they are looking for a strong service manager to manage their very busy workshop.
Job Description Summary
Your main function is to manage a team of staff members to ensure increase in turnover and achieving the highest standard of CSI as well as meeting manufacturers standards and operational guidelines.
Salary on offer: ± R15 000 + Incentives, Medical & Provident.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Providing an informative, professional and friendly link between the customer and the workshop ensuring guaranteed customer satisfaction.
• Daily management of Work in Progress to ensure smooth running of the work-shop and resulting in excellent quality service delivery.
• Management of team of technicians and ensuring productivity targets are achieved.
• Ensuring housekeeping within the workshop is according to Health & Safety standards and reception area is to manufacturers standards.
• Management of staff ensuring all processes and procedures are followed to maximise workshop profitability and quality.
• General management, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed relat-ing to loan vehicles, warranty age analysis, training etc.
Requirements
• At least 4 years in a management position of workshop / service manager managing a medium to large size franchise dealership service department.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Mathematical skills and ability to calculate figures relating to discounts, per-centages, commissions etc.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of challenging situa-tions at one time.
• Computer literacy skills to include Kerridge / Automate and MS Office
• Valid and un-endorsed drivers’ license
• ITC and Criminal Clear Record
• Physically fit to handle the physical demands of this position to perform their job function.
