Service Manager - Automotive Management Services

Automotive Management Services are looking for a strong Service Manager to be responsible for taking our commercial operations to the next level and that might be you! Are you motivated by:

Site Operations and Personnel Management

We offer a wide range of responsibilities and challenges where you will have every opportunity to make a difference and put your personal mark on the operations. You will be responsible for all site operations within your designated area. The focus will be on providing hands on solutions for all vehicles while at the same time coaching, training and managing your personnel to complete each task to be best in class quality. The job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Liaising with customers, understanding their needs and offers/presents suitable solutions via the distribution of product information.
• Developing effective, positive working relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
• Defining the resource requirements and work plan for each service center, and manages the development and successful execution of project deliverables.
• Working closely with the General Manager or respective Manager on site, co coordinating with Head Office Senior Leadership to understand the contractual, business, company and statutory requirements for the various projects.
• Constantly monitoring and reporting on project progress and project activities to all the relevant stakeholders. This includes, but is not limited to, the development and distribution of progress reports, project plans and other associated communication documents/reports.
• Coaching, mentoring, motivating and supervising project team members and influences them to be accountable for their assigned task/areas of responsibility.
• Intervening and implementing corrective measures against any operational deviation or operational non-conformance item to ensure and maintain operational efficiency and productivity.

Ensures that all departments, sites and individuals have adequate technical support and training to help achieve outstanding customer service and operational excellence.

The position will report to the Program Manager in Dubai Head Office.

It is an advantage that you have a background as a Service Manager within the automotive industry, but this is not a requirement. However, if you are our ideal candidate you come with a proven track record of:

• Qualification and certification as Mechanic or Maintenance Technician
• Knowledge about maintenance safety and importance of personal protection equipment
• A can-do-attitude
• Commercial knowledge and understanding
• Management / Supervisory experience

The position will be located in Afghanistan.
