Our motor dealer client in Randburg Area is looking to employ an experienced Service Manager.

Job Description

A suitably qualified person is required to drive efficiency, superior customer service, manage costs and increase the profitability of the service department by ensuring workshop operating procedures and practices are adhered to. The role reports into the Dealer Principal and is responsible for managing the service department staff.

Position Overview
Specific Role Responsibilities • Meet and/or exceed all targets and labour sale objectives through efficient workshop operations.
• Ensure efficient equipment control, assets control and fluent administration processes.
• Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention
• Ensure compliance with the original equipment manufacturer policies as well as industry guidelines.
• Business, Sales and Service Process knowledge
• Ability to manage risk and ensure audit requirement compliance
• Ability to create a high-performance culture and climate
• Ability to manage performance and deal with poor-performance
• Ability to resolve conflict

Qualifications and Experience
• Matric plus a recognised Motor Trade
• An N6 or Technical Diploma advantageous
• Professional & technical expertise in vehicle service & repair management
• Intermediate Computer literacy
• Working experience with Automate advantageous
• A minimum of 3-5 years supervisory / team lead experience in automotive industry
• Vehicle service and repair experience within the retail and motor industry
