Our automotive dealer client currently holds a vacancy for an experienced Service Manager based in the East Rand.

Job Description:
Reporting to the Dealer Principal, the successful candidate will manage the service department.
Drive the productivity, efficiency, and customer service index.
Managing cost and increase the profitability of the service department by ensuring workshop operating procedures and practices are adhered to. Maintain and improve Environmental, Health and Safety standards

Position Overview:
Specific Role Responsibilities :
Exceed all targets and labour sale objectives through efficient workshop operations.
Ensure efficient equipment control, assets control and fluent administration processes.
Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention.
Lead and manage service team.
Achieve industry leading standards of customer care, process efficiency and cost control.

Qualifications and Experience:
Recognised Motor Trade plus N6 or Technical Diploma.
Recognised Management Diploma of Certificate.
Industry related qualification (or working towards).
Higher Certificate and / or Advanced National (Vocational) Certificate with NQF Level 4.
People management.
Must have motor dealership management experience either as a Foreman or Workshop/ Service Manager
Business, Sales and Service Process knowledge.
Professional & Technical Expertise in Vehicle Service & Repair Management
Financial-reporting and forecasting skills

Minimum Requirements:
• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must have valid South African driver’s license
• Must be a qualified Petrol Technician
• Must be computer literate
• Experience with Autoline/ Kerridge, advantageous
