Candidate with strong heavy construction machinery parts sales, technical support and product support experience, required to train and support SPE’s at Dealer level. Increase parts sales in the Sub Saharan Africa region through parts promotions and support to Dealers and their customers.

Minimum requirements:
• Tertiary Technical qualification essential – Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years parts sales of heavy equipment or similar industries essential
• Product support experience for heavy equipment highly advantageous – minimum 3 years required
• Clear criminal record essential
• Valid passport required and must be willing to travel

Responsibilities:
• Parts sales, Technical and promotional support
• Develop service parts and kits to expand sales to selected customers (Dealers)
• Assist with the development of parts sales materials (manuals, tools, sales promotional plans)
• Negotiate parts prices
• Visit potential clients with the Dealers to promote service parts, kits and special promotions
• Arrange training seminars
• Monthly reporting of parts sales
• Liaise with SPE
• Promote service parts to dealers and/or customers
• Budget and cost control – setting goals for annual sales targets, marketing budget and capex budget
• Monthly tracking and reporting against set budgets
• Monitor and review operational costs and expenditure
• Training – SPE training and evaluate SPE’s activity
