SharePoint Developer
Location: V&A Waterfront, Cape Town
Salary: Highly Negotiable
 
The candidate will focus on developing and supporting internal SharePoint based applications as well as assisting with migration of existing applications and websites to SharePoint. 
 
Requirements:

• A degree or similar certification preferable
• MCSD: SharePoint applications or similar from recognized institution would be highly beneficial 
• 3-5 years’ experience developing solutions using .Net / SharePoint 2013 / SharePoint 2010 / HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3
• Strong understanding of SharePoint 2013 best practices
• Experience developing SharePoint solutions
• Knowledge of SharePoint search as well as building search driven websites and applications

 
Duties:

• ?Develop custom solutions making use of SharePoint 2013 / Office 365
• Deploying custom and third party solutions
• Interact with business users and understand their requirements
• Analyse problems reported by users and track down their cause through debugging techniques and discussion with team members
• Assist with migration of data from legacy systems and custom websites to SharePoint
• Application testing 
• Assist with disaster recovery
