Position:
We are looking for experienced developers that have extensive web development experience, including utilizing SharePoint as a platform for the rapid delivery of solutions. Candidates should be able to analyse complex business challenges and determine how these can be solved utilizing both standard SharePoint functionality, as well as the development of new custom functionality, systems integration into external applications, custom workflow development or the development of custom web parts in order to meet the business requirements for a particular solution.

Candidates should be self-motivated, passionate about new technology, and thrive on solving problems within a team environment. This may include providing guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team from time to time.

Candidates should have a thorough understanding of all aspects of SharePoint, including the capabilities and limitations of developing on the platform enabling them to make to make informed design decisions with regards to meeting business requirements, and build versus configuration decisions in terms of new solution development

Experience and Skills Required
• Strong technical ability in the implementation, configuration and troubleshooting of SharePoint.
• C# .NET Development Experience with a focus on web development
• SQL Server Experience (2005/2008)
• Experience with HTML, XML and related technologies such as AJAX, XSLT, CSS, JQuery etc.
• Good configuration and administration understanding of SharePoint (2007 & 2010)
• Good fundamental understanding of development tools (Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, Team Foundation Server etc.)
• Reasonable understanding of networking and operating systems fundamentals. MCSE or networking experience advantageous.
• At least 2-5 years development experience essential. MCSD or equivalent qualification advantageous.
• B.Com or B.SC Information Technology degree/diploma advantageous
