My client based in Cape Town has a SharePoint OOTB Developer job opportunity for a candidate who will effectively implement Out of the Box SharePoint solutions and provide necessary support to the business.

As a SharePoint OOTB Developer your duties will include but not limited to:
- Develop SharePoint Out-of-the-box solutions to solve business problems
- Convert business requirements into technical solutions using appropriate and applicable SharePoint Works with team members and architect
- Ensure team sites are maintained according to SharePoint Governance document
- Help with end user training and interact with customers to provide guidance to SharePoint related tasks
- Document both business and technical requirements
- Responsible for providing support to end users in maintaining content on web pages
- Testing of applications throughout the team

Minimum requirements for the SharePoint OOTB Developer job opening based in Cape Town:

- A Relevant Information Technology tertiary qualification and Microsoft Certifications
- 6 years working experience in the Information Technology industry using Microsoft Technologies
- 3 years’ experience working with SharePoint directly
- Excellent customer focus and communication skills
- Solid Experience working in SharePoint Designer 2007/2010/2013
- Extensive experience with workflow environment• Testing/QA experience• Solid experience working with SharePoint implementing business focused solutions utilizing anyand all SharePoint out of the box features
- Ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions using the appropriate and applicable SharePoint web part(s) using a combination of workflows and Web Development technologies
- SharePoint development experience using Windows Workflow Foundation, InfoPath forms, SharePoint Designer and Excel services
- Thorough understanding of SharePoint Architecture and features, including at the least, Managed Metadata, User Profile Synchronization, Search, My Sites, Content Types, etc
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Visio for designing advanced workflows and flow diagrams
- Some experience using SharePoint 2013 Design Manager, CSS and HTML
- Experience implementing JavaScript library, JQuery code snippets
- Proficiency with SharePoint Branding and customizing SharePoint sites
- Experience using tools such as ShareGate, Nintex, K2 would be advantageous.
- Experience using Visual Studio would be advantageous.
