SHE Auditor

Germiston

(Basic 199, 584 to 269, 457 – Grade C4)

Our client in the heavy engineering sector based in Germiston is seeking a SHE Auditor for their plant.

This person will be required to:

Monitor and facilitate the implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001

To manage the internal audit programme

To audit the effectiveness of the ISO and OHSAS systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Internal Audits


• Systems Management


• Data Management and Reporting (ENABLON)


• Fatal Risks Standards

Qualifications / Education:

• A minimum qualification of Lead Auditor


• ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001

Experience / Competencies:    The successful candidate must have the following experience :

• ISO 14001 implementation


• Analysing and trending environmental monitoring data


• Identification and management of non conformances as per the ISOMETRIX system


• Development of weekly SHE newsletters


• Ability to audit ISO and OHSAS system according to the standards


• Computer literacy


• Effective communication skill


• Analytical skills


• Report writing


• Knowledge of Industrial processes


• ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001


• Passion for environmental management


• Good knowledge of legislation
