Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Relevant qualification of SAMTRAC training will be an advantage
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Safety & Environmental Management Systems
- Experience in the manufacturing industry will be an advantage
- Knowledge of technical safety fields
- First Aid and Emergency Response training
- Experience with implementing management systems such as, ISO 14001 / 9001 / OSHAS 18001
- Fluency in Xhosa will be an advantage
- Strong presentation and training skills

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Technical Safety Program
- Ensure that the site Technical Safety Program complies with company requirements and legislation
- Update procedures, work instructions and work aids
- Conduct internal audits
- Plan and conduct safety training
- Conduct and maintain risk assessments
- Liaise with external stakeholders in terms of emergency services
- Conduct incident investigations
- Compile and submit reports
