VACANCY: SHEQ MANAGER (East Rand)

International group are looking for an SHERQ MANAGER to work at their Modderfontein office.

DUTIES:

1. Developing and implementing the SHEQ strategy of the company
2. Overall responsibility of SHEQ activities, systems and procedures
3. Convene SHEQ meetings
4. Visit sites and see that SHEQ systems are implemented and adhered to
5. Draft quality policies, quality procedures work istructions
6. Prepare and maintain all SHEQ manuals and documentation
7. Creat SHEQ awareness and training
8. Conduct regular SHEQ audits
9. Manage and train all SHEQ personnel
10. Evaluate NCR’s to establish trends
11. Provide updates in changes in legislation
12. Control and update approved vendors database
13. Follow up on all accidents and incidents
14. Ensure that relevant emergency procedures are developed and implemented
15. Communicate the company vision and channel peoples energies towards achievement of that vision.
16. Responsible for building maintenance and security
17. Liason with managing agents

REQUIREMENTS:

a). Grade 12
b). Tertiary technical / engineering qualification
c). Training in all aspects of SHEQ systems and functions
d). Thorough knowledge of OSHact, ISO9001, ISO14001 and OSHAS 18001
e). Five years plus experience as a SHEQ or SHERQ manager
f). Good time management kills
g). Have a passion for SHEQ

PACKAGE:

R50,000 to R60,000 (total cost to company – includes medical aid and provident)
