Our manufacturing Client, based near Rosslyn, Pretoria, urgently requires an industrious and dedicated SHEQ Officer.

Minimum Requirements

Head and shoulders photograph together with updated CV
Matric/Grade 12 Certificate and valid driver’s license
Safety or Quality Management Degree or National Diploma
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
Computer literate – SAP programme
Strong analytical and time management skills
Innovative and committed
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with CONTACTABLE LANDLINE REFERENCES
Police Clearance Certificate

Key Responsibilities

Identify safety and quality requirements and manage SHEQ compliance through effective use of the Toolbox
Use our Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report statistics and information
Facilitate the identification and assessment of SHEQ risks and update the risk register
Develop learning interventions and facilitate SHEQ training courses
Conduct internal SHEQ audits and monitor report closure on Audit findings
Investigate significant incidents and participate in actual level 2, 3 and 4 Significant Incident investigations
Adhere to all related SOP’s, PTO’s and CTO’s as per training matrix per position, SHEQ and company standards
Liaise with Management and external parties involving safety and quality matters
Identify safety and quality requirements and coordinate related management plans
