Our client requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven candidate to take up the role of a SHEQ System Specialist in Bedfordview, Gauteng.

Purpose
• Administer, maintain and enhance/develop Africa divisions Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Risk management systems, databases and software applications
• Develop and maintain the required standards, training manuals and help modules and provide user support and training
• Manage the purchasing, development or enhancement of new systems, databases and software applications in collaboration with IT
• Review and evaluate the SHEQ Risk data accuracy and integrity and advise the business on corrections/amendments
• Analyse the available SHEQ Risk data and compile reports to provide adequate management information to enable the business to take appropriate action to manage SHEQ risks
• Manage all Africa confirmatory audits and provide guidance and support to the BU's on SHEQ Risk issues

Key Performance Areas
• Administer and maintain the SHEQ Risk Management systems, databases and software applications to ensure compliance to legislative, the Company, ISO/OHSAS, Provider and other relevant requirements
• Perform periodic quality audits on: SHEQ Risk Management systems, databases and software application s/ data accuracy and integrity and advise the business on corrections/amendments
• Develop and maintain Company processes and documentation related to the administration, use and maintenance of the SHEQ Risk Management systems, databases and software applications
• As the Super User, provide support, assistance and advice to other users in the functionality and use of the SHEQ Risk Management systems & resolve problems encountered
• Develop and maintain the required training manuals/help modules and train all users to ensure competence
• Liaise with IT and BU's regarding SHEQ Risk related data collection, recording, security, integrity, preservation and reporting
• Liaise with IT to ensure ongoing availability of the SHEQ Risk Management systems, databases and software applications to all users
• Liaise with IT and external Software Consultants iro required support and services related to existing SHEQ Risk Management systems, databases and software applications
• Manage the purchasing, development/enhancement of new systems, databases and software applications in collaboration with IT
• Provide SHEQ Risk related management information and reports - analyse, interpret and report on pro-active and reactive SHEQ Risk data and audit results
• Manage all Africa confirmatory audits
• Manage assigned SHEQ Risk Management projects

Required Qualifications / Experience
• Minimum Matric (Grade 12)
• Minimum 6 years SHEQ Risk Management related experience - Essential
• Minimum 3 year operational and strategic experience - Essential
• Minimum 1 year EBMS/SHEQ Risk Management system, databases and software application experience - Essential
• SHE Risk Management Diploma/Degree - Essential
• SHEQ Auditor Qualification - Essential
• Management Diploma - Desired
• Advanced proficiency - Microsoft Office Package, specifically Visio, Excel, Word and PowerPoint - Essential
• QlikView - Desired
• CANEA Designed - Desired
• SharePoint Designer - Designer
• Lotus Notes and Lotus Notes Domino Designer 8.5 - Desired
• Expression Web 4 - Desired
