My client is a leading multinational company and they are seeking to employ a SHERQ Manager who will be responsible for putting in place systems and processes to document division’s processes.

Minimum Requirements:

• BTech Degree in relevant field (advantageous)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Must be accredited in Auditing ISO 9001, 14001, or OHSAS 18000.

Duties Include:

• Participate in multi-disciplinary work groups to compile risk specific occupational health and safety audits, processes, standards and procedures.
• Supporting and auditing operations IRM (Integrated Risk Management) programs based on IRM principles within the framework of ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
• Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of risk specific audits and processes within the parameters of the law, best practices, ISO requirements and company objectives.
• Implementation and regular testing of the practicality of Divisional emergency and Disaster recovery plans.
• Implement training sessions for both operational management and key operational role players in order to align practices to legal and business requirements.
• Ensure that reactive accident investigations are done according to standards, procedures and legal requirements.
• Co-ordination and reporting of statistical information for the Division.
• Provide an operational professional service to line managers in order to enhance business performance through SHERQ practices and processes.
• Provide SHERQ administrative duties as may be required by the Division.
• Must be competent in the application and practices of ISO 18001, 14001, and OHSAS 18000
