A manufacturing company is looking for a Shift Electrician
Description
Main Job Responsibilities: Assist Fitter on breakdowns Attend to production machine breakdowns Must ensure breakdowns are quickly reacted to and that breakdowns are repaired effectively Attend to daily inspection sheets and record all defects Carry out inspection of machinery as stated on work orders Apply lockout and tag out to machinery during maintenance Repair or replace any worn out machine parts identified during inspection Assist on machine modifications Record any findings or recommendations on work orders Work orders to be handed to foreman Qualification and Experience: Grade 12 or equivalent Must be a qualified electrician (N4 as a minimum) Must have ten (10) years of experience in the role AC (Alternating current )/DC (Direct current) experience Good electrical fault finding experience Sound mechanical experience High tension experience Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience Knowledge, Skills and Attributes: Basic knowledge and understanding of all compliance applicable to the role PLC exposure Good communication and interpersonal skills Able to work well Under pressure
