VACANCIES FOR TELKOM MOBILE SHIFT MANAGER

The main accountabilities are to manage and control risk within acceptable levels, ensure financial exposure is kept at acceptable levels, the achievement of sales targets, manage stock variances and cash shortages within the store, ensure customer satisfaction as well as staff satisfaction and manage the reporting tools.

Requirements:
• 3 – 5 years’ retail sales experience, preferably in the cellular environment
• Retail Management experience
• Knowledge related to latest mobile and fixed-line products advantageous
• Matric qualification
• Computer Literate
• Strong Administrative Background
• Good organizational skills
• Must understand and be willing to work retail hours
• Interpersonal skills very important
• Leadership.
• English and Afrikaans mandatory

You will be required to perform in the following functional areas:
• Manages day to day store operations along with the Branch Manager, as directed by the AREA manager.
• Track performance of the various functions and ensure achievement of targets
• Monitors and supports delivery of sales strategy implementation.
• Professionalism of service/sales delivery through the outlets
• Maintains optimum customer services and relationships
• Logging cases/interactions on CRM regarding relevant customer queries
• Processing orders on ARIA
• Manage Store escalations and tracking cases
• Daily banking and cash ups
• Conducting Daily Scrums covering NPS results and other aspects of Store performance.
• Create a training culture with regards to Telkom products and processors.
• Ensure that all agents are compliant with regards to daily and curriculum assessments
• Assist new agents with regards to in-store processes
• Documenting in-store training sessions, one-on-ones, and counselling sessions with staff.
• Report all irregularities to relevant parties, i.e. Regional Manager, HR, Stock Controller etc.
• Manage staffing issues, and report to HR where assistance is needed
• Submit monthly timesheets to HR
• Ensure that all communication/documents sent by HR are signed by the relevant party/s, and are sent back for HQ records.
• Assist with planning and forecasting of store stock requirements
• Assist Branch Manager with mid and month end stock takes
• Manage and control all stock, variances / losses, along with the Branch Manager
• Manage and control all cash in store, along with the Branch Manager
• Identifies / implements continuous improvements
• Manage and control any regional initiatives, rollouts etc. when delegated by the Regional Manager and Telkom
• Co-ordinate regional deliverables and activities in the store where needing to be actioned

Sales and systems training will be provided.
