Large global organization are looking to employ a Shift Manager to be based at their warehouse in Jhb.


Min Requirements :

Matric / Grade 12.

The ideal candidate must have 3-7 years’ experience in logistics environment under the FMCG banner.

Must have been involved in shift work operations and willing to work day/night shifts rotation.

Be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

A clear understanding of and working experience of IT systems (ERP sys-tems ,WMS packages etc.).( SAP and WMS is essential

•An understanding of operating to a set budget in the warehouse and to control the running expenses will be a necessity.

•A good understanding of housekeeping standards are needed to be able to run a tidy and clean operation.

•A hands-on operator.

•Attention to detail.

•Ability to work overtime.


Key Responsibilities:

Manage warehouse operation with regards to forklift drivers, pickers and loaders.

A full Understanding of a warehousing operation and the day to day running thereof.

Accurate reporting of daily KPI’s.

Daily Stock control (FIFO) together with stock accountability.

Conducting daily/weekly/monthly stock counts.

Ensuring productivity is achieved.

Maintaining quality standards for products and operation.
