Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Relevant Production Management / Business Management qualification
- Minimum 3 years' experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment essential
- Experience in the tyre / rubber industry will be an advantage
- Must be willing to work shifts
- Product and process knowledge
- Problem solving techniques such as FFA and FMEA
- Big Six Capabilities such as:

* Problem solving

Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all quality statutory requirements such as ISO 9000, OSH Act, ISO 14000 and VDA 6 are maintained and implemented
- Ensure that all scrap reports are up to date and that the targets are met
- Ensure that all work instructions are applied correctly
- Manage performance reports
- Training, mentoring and disciplining employees
- Controlling of expenditure and overtime
- Meeting the outputs required from the shift
- Achieve financial budgets for the shift
- Ensure adherence to the health and safety requirements
- Implement plant policies and procedures
- Compile reports
