Our client is looking for an up-and-coming shift leader to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible to plan and coordinate production activities to ensure the delivery of production targets.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence to quality and food safety standards according to good manufacturing practices;
• Ensure the creation of an environment in which the team is motivated to maximise performance and contribute to productivity;
• Submit accurate and timeous reports and take action as required on deviations, incidents and accidents;
• Adherence to safety and security standards according to the OHS Act and in line with company policies and procedures;
• Take full accountability of the maintenance and running of machines in order to produce good quality products.

Requirements:
• Trade tested artisan with a mechanical or electrical qualification (advantageous)
• At least 2-5 years production management experience, preferably in the FMCG industry
• Technical and management skills, attention to detail and problem solving skills
