Main Functions:
Following minimum knowledge required for Shift supervisor:
• Policy of HSE & Quality & MSDS
• Permit to work system
• Emergency Response Plan’s (FRP) & Procedure’s
• Computer application (Office, PI, PIMS, LIMS, Maximo, SAP,……etc)
• Reporting system (Technical report, confidential reports,…etc)
• Training & developments of sub-ordinates & Fresher’s
• Firefighting procedure & tactics
• General knowledge about the different type of DCS & PLC system
• Override Procedure of critical equipment & system, MOS/POS
• Thorough knowledge of Control narratives and ensure product specifications and quality standards.
• Knowledge of Alarm Management System, Advanced Process Control(APC)
• Fully aware of Product Routing (Normal & Emergency case)
• Brief knowledge about LPG & MDEA plant.
• Knowledge about UOP-LPG Merox Technology & MDEA Absorber Unit
• Different type of pumps (centrifugal, reciprocating & Cryogenic pump etc.) startup/ shutdown/ trouble shooting
• Sampling procedure (liquid/gas).
• Emergencies and trouble shooting of LPG & MDEA Plant
• Catalyst & chemicals usage in LPG & MDEA plant
• Operation and trouble shooting of Amine absorber
• Knowledge about Absorber control Philosophy
• Operation and trouble shooting of Off Gas MDEA Absorber
• Knowledge about Amine Absorber & Liquid-Liquid Extractor operation/startup/ shutdown/ emergencies/ Trouble shooting
• Knowledge about Caustic regeneration

Requirements:
***ONLY OPEN TO SOUTH AFRICAN CANDIDATES
• High School/Diploma/Degree with 15 years of experience in Petrochemical/Refinery out of which 8 years of Panel Operation Experience is a must.
