Job Function.

• Coordinates and supervises on assigned shift, the operation of diversified and critical petroleum refining, hydro skimming, gas processing, and utilities plants in a safe and efficient manner.

• Ensure the production, processing and distribution of diversified petroleum, gas and chemical products meet specified qualities and quantities within the designated area.
• Coordinates periodic checks, adjustments and maintains follow-up on all maintenance activities in his respective operating area.

• Completes shift supervisor log book and other work reports noting state of operating plants, corrective action taken and highlighting other items of plant that need further attention.

• Supervise plant start-ups, shutdowns and emergencies as per the established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum N4
• National Diploma or Technical Trade.
• 8 years’ experience in various plant operations aspects in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
• Knowledge of DCS & PLC
• Ability to speak English fluently
• Must have a valid passport

Required Experience

Must have previous experience in the following Units or Operations
• Base Oil /Hydrocracker Unit
• Delayed Coker Unit
• Propane Dehydration Unit.
• Special Carbon Black Unit.
• Gas Processing and Treating Unit/ Hydrogen Manufacturing Unit
• Residue Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit (RFCCU)
