Leading Diamond Mining Group is looking for a qualified and experienced SHIFT BOSS- DEVELOPMENT(2 yrs Fixed Tern Contract) for their Expansion Project in Lime Acres in the Northern Cape Province.

Finsch Mine is located in the town of Lime Acres which is situated 160km north west of Kimberley and 109km south of Kuruman in
the Northern Cape.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants who will be responsible for quality control,
adherence to the development schedule and cost control as well as safety and risk assessment audits, evaluations and reports.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
? Liaise with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve safety, quality and schedule targets
? Manage costs and wastage control
? Ensure that contractors adhere to Security and SHE policies and procedures
? Train and develop others
? Work shifts, overtime, standby and be available for call-outs when required
Minimum Requirements:
? Grade 12/or NQF Level 3 (relevant to position)
? Valid Permanent Blasting Certificate for Scheduled Mines
? Valid driver’s license
? 3 years’ underground experience as a Shiftboss
? 3 years’ experience in trackless development
? Computer Literate in MS Office Suite
? Member of MRS (Proto) team – an advantage – please indicate on your CV
Other Skills/Competencies:
? Good verbal and written communication skills in English
? Be independent, proactive thinker and have the ability to do own job planning and make decisions
? Supervisory/People management skills
