Basic Salary: R13500 - R16000p/m + Benefits

Shipping Clerk Responsibilities:
-Working in a small office setting inside a bright, clean warehouse
-Send instrutions to clearing agents for customs clearing.
-Track shipments
-Follow up for release of shipments
-Prepare SARS documents
-Verify freight charges
-Check customs duty tafiff codes
-Check duty charges
-Check relevant charges on the clearing agent invoice
-Bill of lading
-Check detention charges
-Must have a strong understanding and working knowledge of imports

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 6 Month experience as a SHIPPING CLERK (or similar role)
-Be able to work independently
-Be a dynamic personality who excels in a fast paced and ever changing environment
-BE able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
-Experience using SAP warehouse system - Not Compulsory but Huge asset!
-Exceptional organizational skills and detail orientation
-Experience communicating with truck drivers and customers
-Strong English Communication: Reading, Writing, Verbal
-Strong Computer Skills - Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Word
