Minimum Requirements:

Matric/Grade 12
Tertiary Qualification in SCM/Logistics/Warehousing/Operations MGMT
5 Years experience minimum
Freight/Shipping industry background
P & L; KPI; CIP and staff management understanding & hands on experience essential non-negotiable
Long working hours may be required
Operational administration and related

Duties:

Manages the daily activities of shipping functions in a distribution center.
Implements procedures to improve quality, productivity and efficiency.
Financial function of P&L; budgets and related experience essential.
Full administration mgmt function of operation.
Ensures shipments are delivered in a timely manner.
Maintains relationships with customers & carrier vendors and consistently resolves customer issues.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of complicated tasks; ad hoc and accountability.
Leads and directs the work of others.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Salary: R30-40k CTC Per Month depending on experience
Start: 1 December 2014, or sooner, or January 2015
