Overall purpose of the position:

The purpose of the position is the sale of short term insurance products and services to clients. The Advisor will focus on both personal lines and commercial lines products.

Job Specifications:
• Marketing of short term products and lead generation
• Follow up and conversion of leads
• Developing and maintaining portfolio
• Advising clients on their short-term insurance needs
• Completing annual client policy renewals
• Ensuring that clients’ claims and underwriting queries are resolved
• Requesting and/or preparing quotations for new or existing clients
• Developing sound working relationships with internal and external service providers

Qualifications & Experience:
• Regulatory Examination Level 1 – (RE5 Examination for Representatives)
• NQF Level 4 Short Term Insurance qualification or suitable alternative as recognised by the Financial Services Board
• A minimum of five (5) years’ working experience within the financial services industry
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a sales and advisory role working with personal and commercial lines
