S Recruitment Services is assisting a rapidly expanding SHORT TERM INSURANCE MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE company, to recruit an INSURANCE PRODUCT ARCHITECT to be based in their offices in BRYANSTON, JHB.

REQUIREMENTS:

Short term insurance related qualifications, an advantage
Matric
Basic SQL skills (Not mandatory but a benefit)
5 years technical short term insurance product underwriting skills (Domestic & Commercial)
Basic SASRIA calculations
High attention to detail
Understanding of software in terms of systems and databases
Back end system exposure (Basic SQL – Not mandatory but beneficial)
Own transport
Team player
Highly communicative in working environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Designing user interaction models, workflows and user interfaces
Integrating internal and external product design into a cohesive user experience
Creating prototypes and authoring detailed interaction specifications
Working with user experience researchers to design and observe usability studies
Translating usability and field research findings into design improvements
Working with visual designers to improve and refine product visual design and consistency
Successfully communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale
