Short Term insurance Representative
SALARY – MIN R6600 – R8800 BASIC + UNCAPPED COMMISSION


Our client is currently seeking a Short Term Insurance Intermediary that will be responsible to market insurance products to new prospects and maintain relationships with active clients. This is all done via voice recording and electronic communication. The successful candidate will act as an intermediary for the short term insurance division, Insurance Busters and will report directly to the Short term Insurance Manager.

Key responsibilities:

Maintaining and reviewing existing clients contracts and conducting annual reviews and identifying potential upselling opportunities
Assisting active clients
Prospecting
Building and maintaining relationships with clients and insurance providers
Offering various insurance products to different risk profiles
Consulting and advising clients on their Short term insurance needs
Doing client risk analysis following the code conduct set out in the rules by FIAS and FICA
Adding new business onto the Book as per set target
Key Requirements:

Knowing and understanding the various products in domestic short-term insurance lines
Minimum requirements NQF level 4 Certificate
RE exams completed
Must be computer literate
Minimum two years’ experience in the short term insurance industry (Personal lines)
