Experience
FAIS accreditation
2 years industry experience
Sound knowledge of short term commercial experience
Experience on the X Plan CRM system would be highly beneficial

Position Description
Short term personal lines duties:
Call leads brought in by Brokers and do quotes
Call existing clients on database and cross sell to offer short term insurance cover
Keep track of Book & commissions on month to month basis
Review policies at renewal stage
Load tasks and ensure continuously updated
Networking and leads generating
Capturing quote info & utilising the various quote platforms available
Presenting and following up on quotations issued
Capturing new business on X Plan and new business/pipe spreadsheet
Visiting clients premises for commercial insurance where necessary
Sending thank you, disclosure and policy schedules from X Plan
Finding and sourcing new business from database
Prospecting -Tele sales calling for new business
Ensure disclosure letters and FAIS requirements are complete

Short term commercial duties:
Commercial sales process from quote generation to closing the deal telephonically and face to face while adhering to the quality standards set by the company
New business and up selling of existing clients
Sourcing new leads for both personal lines /commercial short term insurance
Handling client queries
Loading of Policy Information and new applications
Database Management, PR work to current database (Taking care of and calling the existing client base to review portfolio, contact details and make sure portfolio is up to date) as well as obtaining leads from Short term/Medical Aid clients for the Life Division

Contacting referrals and doing quotations follow up’s on closing business and e-mailed quotes

Liaising with Broker Consultants from various insurance companies

Credit Control – Phoning clients who are in arrears and sorting out problems

Liaising with the driver for collection and delivery of documentation

Requirements for tracker, inspection to be followed up as well as all outstanding business to acceptance stage

Adding benefits to existing policies

Package: R 15 000 to R20 000 Basic negotiable + commission + incentive for activities loaded on the system, group life insurance, medical hospital cover.
