Job Description

We are looking to hire a Showroom Manager to start as soon as possible. The role requires an extremely organised and studious candidate to take on the responsibility of all stock in the showroom.

Organisation and ability to highlight attention to detail is of utmost importance. The role requires the candidate to specialize in carefully maintaining detailed inventory records of all stock in and out of the showroom. The role works closely with the Senior Account Managers on the brands and therefore the ability to effectively communicate is essential to the success of the role.

The responsibility is throughout the year and for each and every month for all sample trafficking, and visual merchandising of the showroom space. The candidate will be required to have his/her own transport as weekly drops to media houses occur twice weekly. No candidates will be considered without his/her own vehicle.

An understanding of excel and word is imperative as all samples need to be recorded each and every time they arrive or are dispatched from the sample showroom, for this reason, we are looking for someone with exceptional analytical and attention to detail skills.

Role Includes:

• Sample management including inventory, send outs, returns of which all are tracked on detailed excel documents
• Showroom maintenance and presentation including merchandising, layout, inventory requirements (hangers, stands etc) and stock levels
• Assist media with sourcing to ensure they source products from the correct months
• Regular liaison with Senior Account Managers with regard to samples
• Coordinating delivery and returns to ensue this happens timeously
• Monthly administration for client reports
• Build and maintain relationships with media
• Regular contact with stylists and fashion Editors to ensure all products are returned
• Answering the phone including booking in appointments, taking product requests and messages
• Reporting
