Job Description
Managing relationships with open communication to the superiors, transporters and coal source supervisor/manager
Reporting accurately and timely when there is a complication
Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety requirements: Collecting and maintaining all safety files & ensure all required signs of safety are in place
Ensure all staff working on site have done induction and have loaded records which includes their medicals
Inspecting all truck deliveries operating on site and sign off roadworthy before it is delivered or put to operation on site
Doing daily & weekly checks on machines are filing thereof
Reconciling products/loads from the loading point & communicating should any truck be loaded but not received
Receiving Coal delivery trucks, weighing, check in and directed.
Stockpiling: Clearly marking and keep supply sources apart, ensuring no contamination
General Maintenance of Site: Ensure drainage systems are working, railroads are clean, access roads are maintained and reporting any suspicious activity
Loading trains: Ensure safety is first priority and ensuring the trains are loaded within the given time and issuing a rake report once done
Environmental & Safety: Ensuring all EMP site compliance and that all security procedures are adhered to as per site policies
Updating and maintaining the company ERP system for site
Reporting hourly via social media of trucks moved and delivered and the quantity of the load, the total tons moved and delivered for the day and monthly reporting via email to ensure reconciled loads are received in numeric order by date with waybill numbers and verifying any outstanding/missing loads
Minimum Requirements
Matric with maths as a subject
Minimum 2 years background working in coal
Screening & crushing experience an added advantage
Advanced Excel spreadsheet experience & computer literacy
Ability to work with figures (tons)
