Siemens PLC /WIN CC Scada C&I Technician- Underground Mine- Outside Gauteng
N6 Diploma in Electrical Engineering Light current (LC) or Instrumentation and Process Control with Trade Test Certificate** (Instrumentation and Process Control), OR
S4 National Diploma in Electrical Engineering Light current (LC) or Instrumentation and Process Control
Must be prepared to relocate out of Gauteng
Experience essential in of Siemens S7 PLC and Communication systems
Experience is essential in SCADA (WinCC)
Experience gained in of standard field instruments and control systems
Experience gained in of Siemens VSD’s, Motor management relays (Simocode Pro V) and loop tuning
2 years relevant experience in control and instrumentation in an underground Mining environment
Computer literacy
Valid driver’s License essential
Must not be colour-blind
Must not suffer from vertigo / claustrophobia / acrophobia
Responsible for the maintenance, installation, optimization, improvement and upgrading of all C& I related equipment.
Carry out repairs, maintenance and preventative maintenance work on all C & I equipment to comply with product technical standards and specifications
Continuously analyse and optimize equipment effectiveness and efficiencies in order to recommend and implement improvements to maximise production
Monitor equipment availability to ensure adherence to production parameters
Execute C&I projects in line with accepted project management principles
Investigate and diagnose problems and breakdowns to determine requirements and order spares
Install and maintain radiation equipment where applicable
Willing and able to work overtime, do standby and be available for call outs
Able to communicate in English (written & verbal)
R 35 000- R40 000 per month plus overtime and standby and call out allowance rate per hour also paid/other benefits
