Title: Installation / Rigging Supervisor

Key Performance Indicators:
• Pre plan, Co-ordinate and supervise the rigging activities in a safe manner
• Ensure all rigging equipment is inspected and safe to use
• Daily, Weekly and Monthly planning

Key Responsibilities
• Supervising and assisting the rigging staff.
• Planning and executing the projects you are assigned to.
• Ensuring the safety of riggers according to applicable laws, regulations, company & client requirements.
• Carrying out site surveys.
• Monitoring & improving installation quality
• Maintaining safety files for every site assigned to you
• Co-ordinating the delivery of products to site.
• You will be required to reconcile expenses on all your projects at the end of each month & assist with stock takes particular to your projects when needed.
• Professional conduct is required at all times.
• You are required to familiarise yourself with the Human Resources Policies and Procedures as it applies to rigging staff.
• You may need to travel countrywide and possibly to neighbouring countries fairly regularly. You are therefore required have a valid, unendorsed driver’s license and passport at all times.
• The vehicle will be under your control and will be used for business purposes only unless cleared by management in advance. Vehicles and trailers will be kept clean, damage free and in a road worthy and road legal state at all times.
• You will be responsible for all tools & equipment signed for, on your asset register. They must be kept clean & serviceable at all times. Any faulty, damaged or missing items must be reported to the Operations Manager.

Profile
• EXPERIENCE

Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
1. The appointed candidate will have at least 3-5 years installation / rigging experience (particular to signage will be beneficial).
2. Another advantage would be to have previous experience in this type of position on a similar project.
3. Must be able to read drawings, drill, grind, and weld and use a hand router.

• QUALIFICATIONS
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
1. Grade 12 (Matric)
2. Industry related training will be advantageous eg. ****@*****.***, First Aid, Fire Fighting, etc.
