Site Agent (Civils)

A well-established Contractor is looking for a Site Agent specializing in Civil’s such as Roads, Water Earthworks and Infrastructure experience to join their Construction and Mining team in Johannesburg on a contractual basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining production targets within budget.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must have a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Construction Management
Must have 10 years’ relevant experience as a Site Agent on Infrastructure, Roads and Civil Projects such as Water Earthworks, Stormwater and Roadworks
Must be eligible to register with ECSA and/or SACPCMP
Must be able to understand and implement quality requirement
Must have good knowledge of the administrative and contractual side of projects
Must have experience with cash flow management and cost control, including submission of monthly revenue certificates
Must have experience with setting and maintaining work sequences and construction programmes.
