This CIDB 9 CE/GB construction company is building Schools and Hospitals/ Clinics throughout the Free State and they are URGENTLY looking for 3 x Site Agents to work on contracts from R20 Million to R200 Million. The right person must be able to stand alone and have the drive and determination to complete the contract on time and within budget, they will be responsible for the day to day running of the sites and overseeing Sub Contractors who may or may not have the relevant experience, so must also be a diplomat.

SITE AGENT- BUILDING

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• B.Sc. / B Tech Civil Eng. Degree or Diploma Construction Management or similar qualification
• A minimum of 5-8 years Building construction experience.
• The applicant must have leadership qualities and be innovative.
• Must be prepared to travel.

DESCRIPTION:

• Sets and maintains production targets and operates within prescribed budgets.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Co-ordinates and controls the activities of site staff and agreed quality standards set out in contract.
• Liaises with clients, site staff and agreed quantities programmes etc.
• Submits monthly revenue certificates and cost estimates.
• Sets and maintains work sequences and construction programmes.
