An acclaimed construction firm seeks a Site Engineer for a contract position in Johannesburg. Suitable candidates should hold a BSc, BEng or B Tech in Civil or Construction management from a reputable institution; and 8+ years experience on site with civil works projects. Duties of the position include applying knowledge of construction processes and trades, reading and interpret drawings, setting out and leveling, applying knowledge of materials, plant and equipment and site administration systems, co-ordination of construction teams , staff management and labour legislation, upholding safety requirements and safety and health legislation ; and financial control including costing. This position is offered on a 1 year contract basis.
