SITE MANAGER required to manage a 6 month project based in MOBENI, Durban involving the relocation of a Hydraulic press; including Rigging, Mechanical & Electrical. To start JANUARY 2016!

Overview:
To site manage a 6 mth project based at Mobeni.
Project shall involve Mechanical, Rigging & electrical trades.
Expected manpower of 20 people.
6 to 7 day work schedule.
11hr on site day.

Structure:
Site manager to report to the project manager based at Pinetown.
Site coordinator and safety officer reporting directly to site manager.
Mechanical, rigging & electrical crews reporting to site coordinator.

Responsibilities:
Complete project within budget.
To meet client generated schedule.
Maintain a house keeping of site.
Quality control
Ensure safety is being adhered to.
Attend daily on site meetings with client.
Record for daily manpower and cost tracking.
Provide weekly reports.
Buying of consumables.
Oversee manpower & machinery on site.
Booking of machinery being access platforms and cranes.

Skills & Qualifications:
Project management experience, Mechanical DIP or better.
Site orientated person.
Mechanically & practical minded
Well presented
Strong personality, being able to manage tradesmen.
Excel, MS project

Remuneration:
Market related CTC salary
