Fixed Term Contract
An innovative and dynamic SETA is currently looking for a Regional Key Accounts - Skills Advisor to manage client relationship, source new funding & partners and understand the processes such as partnerships and Discretionary Grants (GE) award applications.

Key performance areas
• Client Relationship Management with NPO’s, clients and other stakeholders and learners
• Sourcing new NPO’s and performing due diligence.
• Increase stakeholder networks
• Build a solid data of potential interns/ learners and placement sites
• Giving input to improve the programmes
• Written Reports to Key stakeholder on progress of learners
• Stakeholder engagement and due diligence processes completed and adhered to
• Working knowledge of the Skills Development Act (SDA), Skills Development Levies Act (SDLA), National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS III), South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) and the SETA environment.
• Experience with Submission of the Workplace Skills Plan and Actual Training Records
• Experience with Discretionary Funding opportunities – Learnerships, Skills Programmes, Internships, and WEG etc.
• Experience as a Skills Development Manager
• Knowledge and Experience of Accreditation and Development of Training Material
• Skilled in Stakeholder relationships Management and Communication
• Financially astute
• Attend to dissemination of information at career exhibitions
• Generate Request for Payment for Discretionary Grants timeously
• Conduct due diligence for the Discretionary grants award applications monitor & Evaluate Training Interventions
• Conduct on-going benchmarking and ensure continuous improvement
• Retain current stakeholder companies
• Recruit other companies’ that fall within auspices

Education, Training and Experience
• A relevant degree or Diploma, NQF level 6 qualification
• Min 5 years exp in Key Accounts / Business Development
• Certificate in Assessor and/or SDF training.
• Industry experience as an artisan and/or other technical areas will be a strong advantage Exposure to the SETA environment.
• Knowledge: NSDS, Regulatory framework (SDA, SDLA, SAQA, QCTO, EE, BBBEE, FET, HET and PFMA)
• Knowledge of both the chemical sector and the National Qualifications Framework (NQF)
• Knowledge of SDF processes; Financial management; Report Writing
