Senior Consultant - Investments

Growing and managing a portfolio of complex and/or large clients by providing contracted investment consulting services. Grow the book of consulting clients, to develop, implement and monitor the investment strategy of existing clients and to ensure alignment to the overall consulting strategy. Retention of existing business and optimal growth of existing and new client accounts.

• Ensure strong relationship with trustees/management committees and clients so as to reduce business risk, ensure retention and identify opportunities for new business
• Manage and deliver consulting and advise services according to contracted service levels
• Responsible for retention and growth of business against targets
• Market new and enhanced investment consulting services to clients
• Manage the launch of new clients and exit of discontinued funds
• Provide input to Corporate so as to enable product and services to be enhanced and developed
• Resolve top-level problems where Consultant needs assistance and support
• Intervene in and resolves conflict situations
• Develop, lead and manage Consultants and Associate consultants
• Meet overall objectives by supporting team members (Principal Consultants, Consultants and Associate Consultants)
• Manage the expense and income budgets if necessary

Qualifications and Experience

• NQF 7, CFP or relevant degree/diploma
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience
• Senior. Management experience
• FAIS accredited (Categories: 1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.7 and 1.14 Categories: 1.8-1.13 would be an advantage)
