Job Description
The Senior Systems Engineers is responsible for implementations and support of the standard product sets offered by The Company in their competency profile. Required to work in conjunction with the Customer Services Manager and client to provide support and required changes to systems under SLA. The incumbent will be required to actively participate in project planning, implementation delivery, deployment, and support and technical troubleshooting. The ability to work with the associated vendors is beneficial to the role.
Will assist in maintaining and installing operating system software products and utilities. Designs, codes, tests and debugs software products. Modifies software products to improve overall efficiency of operating system. Distributes vendor software products and updates to users.

Key Responsibilities
• Must be able to work with Technical Lead and team during implementations.
• Ability to identify situation when escalation to CoE or Technical Lead is required.
• Be a trusted advisor to peers and customers.
• Ensure all solution components are implemented according to best practice and within the project scope.
• Customer \ Vendor engagement and relationship to stay up to date with latest technology enhancements and changes
• Follow best practice deployments guides for project delivery
• Produce and refine site documentation.
• Capture all working time on key business systems
• Identify problems and errors prior to or when they occur and log all such incidents/problems in a timely manner with the required level of detail.
• Take full ownership for managing the incident/problem to resolution within the service level conditions.
• Shares lessons learnt and trains more junior engineers on how to approach and deal with reoccurring incidents, in the effort to reduce the reoccurrence of the incident and escalations in future.
• Ensure that no unnecessary changes are made, that all changes are documented, and that services are not unnecessarily disrupted.
• Produce reports to identify failures and short-comings on request
