Job Description:
Snr IT Systems Engineer

Senior IT Technical Systems Engineer required at the Head Office of a corporate concern with a national footprint. Provisioning, installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware and software as well as related infrastructure. Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems and related procedures adhere to organizational policies and methodologies.

Minimum Requirements

Microsoft Certified System Engineer

Microsoft Exchange Certification

4+ years’ experience in a Systems Administration role

3+ years’ experience in Microsoft Exchange administration

Duties include but are not limited to

Engineering of system related solutions for various projects and operational needs.

Installing new / rebuilding existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storages etc.

Developing and maintain installations and configuration procedures.

Contribute to and maintain system standards.

Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs as well as verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
