- Manage production emergency changes, maintenance releases or the upgrade of third party software that is used by the applications
- Manage Cost reduction initiatives without compromising service delivery quality
- Manage customer relationships
- Manage internal Ad Hoc projects
- Manage IT Metric targets and SLA
- Ensure levels of IT service delivery are achieved for existing/new services in accordance with the agreed targets
- Implement and manage an IT Service Level Management function
- Ensure goals of IT Service Continuity Management process are achieved by providing support to the overall Business Continuity Management process, ensuring that the required IT tech/serv facilities (incl. computer systems, networks, applications, data repositories, telecoms, environment, tech support and Service Desk) can be resumed within required and agreed business time scales
- Interpret business plan and compile implementation strategy
- Implement operational plan and deliverables
- Drive implementation of solutions and organisational renewal
- Establish an enabling work environment and culture for optimum staff performance
- Responsible for staff development
- Ensure Interpretation and implementation of the climate intervention strategy
- Responsible for implementation of change initiatives
- Ensure sound financial management; budget compilation and monitoring expenditure/ income
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
ITIL v3 (or higher) on Management level will be an advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS
Relevant degree (NQF level 7)/ diploma (NQF level 6). Post graduate qualification (NQF level 8)/ Senior Management programme will be an advantage.
EXPERIENCE
5 Years relevant operational and management experience in business and IT Service Management and at least 3 years managerial experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Good written & verbal communication skills; High level of Computer literacy (essential) ;
Prepared to travel
Valid driver's licence
Formal management development certificate from tertiary institution
Good knowledge of Telco Business structures, policies & processes
